Too much imagination

A vivid imagination is seen by many parents as a wonderful thing – such great ideas for stories and games, so expressive, so much to say – but to the child it can be a burden. Imagination is not switched off when Music & Movement ends or the last line of the poem is finished. Imagination takes the child wherever it wants: anything is possible. (Imagine if you got kidnapped. Could you breathe with a gag on? Hold your breath and make sure…What if there’s somebody

Ideas wanted for magazine articles!

By day I'm a stay-at-home mum - by night I'm a freelance writer. I am self-employed and work alone.

At the moment I am finding it hard to think up new ideas for articles to write. If anyone has any ideas for features, I would love to hear them.

I do prefer to write factual, "how-to" type features, and my work has tended to be about eco-living, family life and, more recently, spirituality. Things like: 20 ways to do something (e.g. overcome anxiety) or Ten tips

How to begin with Reiki

I am interested in learning how to do Reiki and would appreciate any advice on where to start. Does anyone out there in the North Yorkshire area teach this therapy or do you know where I could learn? Any recommended websites or books would also be much appreciated. Thank you for any guidance you can give.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Wishing you a happy day,

Alison

Hi Alison

Sorry I haven't replied to you on this, I couldn't get on to the website until today. What sort of article is it you're writing? Is it one where you're wanting to interview people about their experience?

Best wishes

Deb

Hi Alison,

I'm not sure where you should reply to comments and ended up leaving the following on my own wall in response to your comment of yesterday...so here it is on your wall as well!

I have one by Tony Stockwell which is probably my favorite for contacting your spirit guide. I also have one called Spiritual Journey on my website which started out as one I recorded for myself and then I ended up making it available to customers.

Have you any favorites which you listen to? or titles you would like to see? It is a section of the website I am planning to expand once I get around to devoting time to recording again.

Dear Alison. Thank you for your message. I'm welling to help you if you want. But remeber that I am a French Canadian and that my English writing must not be good enough. I met people like the Benedictine monk Father Bede Griffith, Yogi Ramaya, Swami Premananda, Swami Durgananda, Swami Shyam, the saddhu Bhairav Muni and Kalyani Schaeffer. I'm interested in the meeting of East and West and I have some interesting interview material I could share with others.

Thank you for the invitation and the good work.
